ABOUT US

Growing since 1982

Professional forestry services with integrity & quality.

Since 1982, Green Belt has partnered with landowners, farmers, forest owners, and investors throughout Ireland. We offer forestry services based on integrity, quality, and lasting relationships.

Our mission is to help you make the best forestry decisions for your land or investment. From the first conversation to the final harvest and reforestation, we offer clear advice and practical support every step of the way.

We believe good forestry begins with trust. Each site is unique, and every client has their own goals. Our foresters take time to explain your options clearly before you make any decisions. You own the land and the timber. We bring the expertise, manage the work, and help you get lasting value from your forest.

With over 600 million trees planted, Green Belt is proud to help grow a stronger forestry sector in Ireland. We support rural jobs, produce renewable timber, and help forests provide lasting economic, environmental, and community value.

Community and public engagement

Helping people experience forestry in their own communities

Green Belt does more than just plant and manage forests. We also back projects that help people learn about, experience, and appreciate forestry in their own communities.Over the years, we have taken part in planting days, community projects, nature experiences, and forestry promotion throughout Ireland. Whether through local activities or national events like the Ploughing, we want to show more people how well-managed forests benefit landowners, rural communities, biodiversity, timber, and future generations.

We are also proud to support broader environmental and community efforts, such as creating native woodlands, developing public amenity woodlands, running pollinator-friendly projects, and building partnerships that help people see the long-term value of Irish forestry.
